Al Snow (Alive)

Allen Ray Sarven [1963 - Present]

"We Want Head"

Pro wrestler Al Snow

A native of Lima, Ohio, Al Snow has earned a reputation over the years as one of the most colorful wrestlers in the business after toiling for years in relative obscurity. A true hardcore wrestling legend, Snow made his professional wrestling debut with Midwest Championship Wrestling in the early 80s and captured the MCW title in 1985. Snow then wrestled the independent circuit for years and gained a reputation as "The Best Kept Secret in the Wrestling Business." In 1995, the 6' 2'', 238 lb. wrestler made his Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) debut as "The Snowman" Al Snow in a thrilling match against Chris Benoit. After a two-year stint in the World Wrestling Federation wrestling under names like Avatar, Shinobi and Leif Cassidy, Snow returned to the ECW in the late '90s with a new gimmick as a schizophrenic taking advice from a severed mannequin head. Snow wrestled for the ECW Heavyweight title at Wrestlepalooza 1998 but lost to Shane Douglas and soon returned to the WWF where he founded the J.O.B. Squad. On December 7, 2008, Snow made his TNA Wrestling debut.

No matter what persona Al used, he never failed to entertain the fans (and sometimes the announcers and other wrestlers) and in the final analysis, isn't that the name of the game? It's good to see Al is still keeping his hand in the game and is as entertaining as ever.

You'd think he'd be passed away by now considering he gave off the vibe of being on drugs.
