John "Johnny" Walker [1938 - Present]
Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Johnny Walker was a highly popular wrestler who made his mark in Florida and Georgia after he changed his persona from The Grappler to Mr. Wrestling II in 1973. Mr. Wrestling II was involved in some legendary feuds with the likes of The Road Warriors, Jimmy Garvin, Magnum T.A., The Assassin, The Spoiler, Jack Brisco and others. Mr. Wrestling II was reportedly President Jimmy Carter's favorite professional wrestler. He currently serves as Director of Talent Relations for Hawai'i Championship Wrestling.
Note: Mr. Wrestling II's date of birth is an estimate of him making his wrestling debut at the age of 18 since no trace of a birth date could be found during our extensive research.

i dated a girl in high school who, later turned out to be his neice! they had a mannequins head inside a curio with his original mask on it! it was the coolest piece of wrestling memorabilia ive personally ever seen! and, the old photos AMAZING!! we are also from cols,ga!!
I had the honor of being in a battle royal with II in 1990 in Doulassville GA this was one of his last matches i was half his age and in excellent shape, and he could turn me inside out. his longetivity was amazing.
I remember watching him with my mother. He was my one of my fav back when I was a kid. I use to run around calling him the black eye pea.....
Mr. Wrestling II (Johnny Walker) suffered a heart attack while attending a wrestling fans' convention back in August of this year. I understand he's recovering well and taking it easy for a while. Get well soon, Johnny!
I used to love his feud with Larry Zybyscko in the old WCW. (Pardon me if I spelled that last name wrong.)
Say what you will, but I think that photo of Jimmy Carter holding II in a headlock was a real hoot and probably helped to get Carter elected President. (Yes, that picture WAS taken while Carter was a candidate and not during his term as President.)
Mr. Wrestling #2 is the best wrestler ever.
Love to watch every Wednesday night in Columbus,Ga. and Saturdays. He was my favorite.
I'm from Columbus, GA too. Mr. Wrestling II was always my favorite. I pretty much followed his career from the early 70s to the mid-80s.
