Canadian-born Lionel Giroux began his professional wrestling career as Little Beaver in the early 1950s and became one of the most famous midget wrestlers of all time. Named "Midget Wrestler of the Year" in 1973 by Pro Wrestling Illustrated, Little Beaver is arguably best remembered for his appearance in a six-man match at WrestleMania III in 1987. During the six-man match, Little Beaver, The Haiti Kid and Hillbilly Jim defeated King Kong Bundy, Little Tokyo and Lord Littlebrook. Little Beaver, who suffered a back injury during the match that ended his professional wrestling career, died of emphysema in 1995. He was posthumously inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2003.
