Jimmy Garvin started wrestling under the name of Beau James and later took the name "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin. Throughout his career, Garvin wrestled in the Mid-South and Florida areas, plus World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), American Wrestling Association (AWA), National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He also wrestled in the Global Wrestling Federation (GWF) as well. Garvin had memorable feuds with Wahoo McDaniel, Ric Flair and Kevin Sullivan, among others. He was also a member of the Fabulous Freebirds. Since his retirement, Garvin has worked as an airline transport pilot.

My best memory of Garvin is the feud he had with Jos LeDuc in Florida. He really came into his own during that time.
